Paul van Dyk (born December 16, 1971 - Eisenhüttenstadt, Land Brandenburg, Germany) pseudonym of Matthias Paul, one of the most successful international DJs. Paul van Dyk grew up in communist Germany. Due to the fact that the community in which he lived did not have a vast culture, Paul van Dyk listened to the radio where he discovered his passion for music; this being extended beyond the boundaries of techno music - wanted to create a different, unique genre of music. In the first half of 1990, Paul van Dyk often played in Berlin clubs until he released his first album, "45 RPM," in 1994. But only the release of his second album, "Seven Ways," put him in the top 100, followed by the single "For An Angel," which gave him worldwide praise. When Paul van Dyk released "Out There & Back" in 2000, it was clear that the musician would have more to offer than his signature clubs and remixes that have already made him one of the most influential DJs and manufacturer of all time.
