Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike is a Belgo-Greek electro house band. It is composed of brothers Dimitri Thivaios (Dimitri Vegas) and Michael Thivaios (Like Mike), from Willebroek in Belgium. In 2015, both members reached the top spot in DJ Magazine's annual ranking of the most popular DJs. On October 20, 2016, they lost their first place, replaced by Martin Garrix.

Dimitri Thivaios (born May 16, 1982) and Michael Thivaios (born 1985) are of Greek origin, but were born in Willebroeck, near Antwerp (Belgium). The two members start DJing at the age of fourteen in small local clubs, and a few years later host local radio station BeatFM. They leave Belgium in 1999 to play during a European tour before moving to Chalkidiki in Greece, then to Ibiza in 2003. This is where they become popular playing in Privilege and Space clubs. After becoming residents of The End and Amnesia nightclubs in Zante, Greece in 2006, they produce their first single Cocaine / Eivissa. In 2009, they attract the attention of composer Axwell with their remix of his title Work That Body.

In 2011, both members enter the annual ranking of DJ Mag in 79th position. In 2012, they reach 38th place in the ranking. Since this year, the duo divides the work during their shows: Dimitri Vegas takes care of the music on turntables while Like Mike plays the role of MC setting the mood at the microphone. They then become recognized thanks to the Belgian festival Tomorrowland which places them several times on the weekend programming and gives them carte blanche on the aftermovie video seen tens of millions of times on YouTube4. The duo also quotes Tomorrowland as the "pillar" of their success. In 2013, DJ Mag ranks them 6th in the ranking of the best disc jockeys. That same year, they count five singles placed at the top of the sales on the site Beatport. The duo team up with Steve Aoki to found 3 Are Legend.

In 2014, Dimitri and Michael publish the single Tremor with Martin Garrix, the anthem of the Sensation festival. The same year, following a huge advertising campaign at the festival Tomorrowland, they continue their progression in the second place of the DJ Mag Top 100. They publish the single Feedback to the label Spinnin 'Records1. At the end of the year, they begin a tour called Bringing the World, which brings together a total of 38,000 people in December 2015. The compilation of the same name reaches the 6th place in the Swiss music rankings for a week. Meanwhile in July 2015, the duo performs as stars at Tomorrowland: "the two Belgians have been able to grow the confidence Tomorrowland has shown them for several years" says the magazine DJMag. On October 16, 2015 they were elected number 1 of the "DJ Mag Top 100" ranking, thus dethroning Hardwell. This is the first time a duo of two brothers has reached the top of this ranking. In 2016, they fall in second, leaving Martin Garrix first. They then leave Stay a While. The following year, they have a residence in Ushuaia in partnership with Tomorrowland.
